Galactor is the youngest brother in the Rockhopper family. Inspired by all members of his family, Galactor made something of his life and became an astronaut, but was also inspired by his autistic older brother who tried to become a superhero by the name of Galactus. Galactor was raised in foster care after his older brother took ownership of his childhood home, kicking out his younger brother as he did not want the responsibility of having to look after him, as well as Galactus being worried it would cut into his "hero time"
After many years in the foster system, Galactor eventually aged out, and was filled with bitterness and hatred for his older brother. By sheer chance, Galactor came across The Master, the god of the universe, who took pity on Galactor, granting him immense super-powers so that he could seek revenge against his older brother because the Master thought it would be "well funny"
After the death of the supervillain Genesis, the city of Chester was left in ruins but was still hailing Galactor's older brother Galactus as a hero for ending the battle and allegedly saving the day. Galactor had observed that his older brother hadn't actually done anything and that an anvil had fallen out of a plane, killing the villain, and so in protest of this, Galactor took to the skies, impersonating his brother and mocking his insanity and stopping crimes, but Galactor soon found out that with his powers he was an even more effective vigilante than his brother was.
Filled with jealousy for his younger brother, Galactus challenged Galactor to a battle, but without the aid of superpowers, Galactus got twatted. Following this battle, Galactor went mad with power and turned evil, showing his true nature. He flew into space and began to challenge any extraterrestrial who would fight him, purely for the thrill of beating up people close to his power level.
Galactus decided to challenge Galactor to yet another battle, demanding that his brother meet him in the only place in Chester that had not been affected by the first battle, The Lache, but this time Galactus brought his guns. The fierce battle resulted in both of them getting shot, Galactor being shot point blank by Galactus, and Galactus being hit by a stray bullet deflected by his younger brother.
Galactor decided that his brother couldn't be controlled anymore and that he was more of a threat to humanity than a help, so he beat him near to death. As he was preparing to execute his brother and end the battle, a grand piano fell on Galactor, knocking him out. The piano had fallen out of another plane with a malfunctioning bomb bay door and was destined for the lock keeper (another order from abroad by the manager). Galactor was defeated in the same way his brother's previous opponent, Genesis had been. although Galactor was left alive, and arrested for his crimes of identity theft for taking his brother's secret identity. Galactor was imprisoned in a maximum security facility and still resides there today.
