Keks was born when Oxryn was nothing but a small fishing village on a wildlife-filled forest planet formally known as Kalstin. Keks was forced to serve in the universal empire as a foot soldier a peacekeeping force for the omniverse. He enjoyed his time in the empire quickly rising through the ranks with the help of his manipulative skills. During his conscription, it was a peaceful time and the planet never claimed or destroyed other planets, only offering other planets to join their alliance and accepting when they refused, but keeping the member planets safe. Due to the Oxryn race and their superhuman abilities, he was a great asset to the military.

Hundreds of years in his career he found the Emperor to be weak and not fit to rule. He staged a coup with some of his loyalist men and elected himself as leader. He destroyed all the planets and races in the alliance that he viewed as weak and destroyed opposing men and governments who went against him destroying their home planets as a way of showing his true power.

He ordered slaves to build the planet-sized city of Oxryn, converting the entirety of Kalstin into the centre of his new empire. Every school in the empire put a focus on military training, with every life form in the empire training for conquest. This program produced an officer named Genesis whom the Emperor took on as his personal protegee due to their shared views as well as making him his front-line commander for all conquests in the future.

 

Upon Genesis's death on a planet The Emperor once thought pointless, he saw its true power and organised an operation to take the planet over and use it in the empire, and hopefully find a replacement Apprentice. The planet was Earth. The Oxyrn Empire won its campaign and conquered the Earth. The Earth rebelled against the control of the planet and during the rebellion, the Emperor was killed.
