The Quarter is a group of so-called "Super Heroes" who came together a few years ago to fight what they perceived as evil. The group come from several different walks of life and each alone does not necessarily possess a large threat, but when united the groups complimentary and different powers as well as well-rehearsed tactics makes them almost unstoppable

1. The Bombardier

Name: Robert Plumb

Date of birth: Friday, 17th Jan 1958 (Age 65)

Robert was selected for the enhancements by the British Army after he volunteered for the program, which granted him his abilities. Physically, Robert is slightly overweight but otherwise in good shape. He is very tall with fair skin, brown hair and blue eyes. 

Despite his large size, he can move without making a sound, regardless of floor and clothing conditions, shifting his weight on his feet to account for this. He also has enhanced dexterity, allowing him to rapidly and skilfully move and manipulate things with his hands. His hand enhancements didn't stop there, with him harnessing an "improved light touch", granting a steady hand and delicate touch. He also has Improved flexibility and Ultra reflexes, letting him twist and bend easily, more than typically possible and too automatically respond instantly to any stimulus.

2. Sorcero 

Name: Christopher Wu

Date of birth: Thursday, 10th Jan 1985 (Age 38)

A cleric who studied from birth in a monastery in the Himalayas to become a powerful sorcerer, isolated from society. Physically, Chris is in pretty good shape. He is average height, with a shaved head, a long beard and dark eyes.

He can harness destruction magic; casting spells that cause devastating damage and pain. Blood magic; Casting spells by using blood from himself and others, although each use of this type of magic brings about a new deal with the Devil themselves, so he uses this ability sparingly. He is a skilled potions master and alchemist, and also possesses several unique spells including a replication spell, letting him create copies of an existing item or creature, and in circumstances where he has been augmented with additional magic, he can even make duplicates of humans, although they are essentially soulless husks. When in possession of varied magical tomes he can also use them to their full effectiveness regardless of the magic type.

3. Shadow

Shadow is slightly taller than average, but beyond that, it is difficult to validate his physical appearance due to the nature of his abilities. Shadow has a connection to the void, a term used to describe anywhere with a lack of light. The darker a place is, the stronger Shadow becomes, allowing them to manipulate the darkness itself to create both metaphysical and physical apparitions. They also have the power to 'store' darkness within themselves, allowing them to use it at a later time and remove the light from an area, which then lets them create physical dark constructs.

4. The Samurai

A duel Katana-wielding samurai Inouye Yuudai has donned the moniker of the Samurai to right the wrongs he sees in society. 

Although he has no superpowers, through years of training he has honed both his warrior skills and his body to be the perfect killing machine. A man of honour, Yuudai lost his wife to illness shortly after she gave birth to his son. Years later he also lost his son after a tragic accident at their home. The tragedy came from the fact that Yuudai's son would have survived his injuries had an ambulance been able to reach their home in time, but gang violence closer to the hospital had meant that all ambulances were either attending that incident or were delayed in their response time. Yuudai's son died in his arms. 

Blaming the gangs involved, Yuudai began a crusade against those responsible for the incident, and then expanded his crusade against all organised crime to ensure such an incident were to never occur again, which is how he first came into contact with the members of the Quartet, leading to the event that formed the team when they all joined forces to take down a Yakuza boss trying to move territory into London.
