Marcus Marcett was a Roman soldier during the Roman conquest of the British Isles. He was a part of an expedition which moved across the north of England. He made his home in the northwest, in a settlement known as Deva in 79AD.
In this future city, he established the first "Market" naming it after himself, inviting commerce from travelling traders, as well as permanent stalls. The market would trade everything that the average Roman would need, from fresh food to linen and weapons.
