Cringe Lords are a group of demon-like entities that exist everywhere at once. They monitor the universe, although it is unclear who gave them this task. It has been noticed that although sightings are minimal, almost all have been at sites of great cringe, with more Cringe Lords appearing to witness cringier events, leading experts to believe that they feed on the cringe itself.
The Cringe Lords will sometimes interact with "cringy" individuals in an effort to create even more cringe for them to feed off of, putting ideas into their heads, or terrifying them and driving them to insanity, causing the individual to act out, often in a cringy way.
The Cringe Lords are responsible for the creation of the battle royale mode of Fortnite, as well as the TikTok career of Paul Snapshot eye. Both of these could have been enough to sustain every cringe lord for several lifetimes, but a secondary characteristic they possess is greed.
