Quentin Russo is an organised crime don and member of the Russo crime family who butted heads with Dog Lead Man. He and Dog Lead Man had a disagreement after Dog Lead Man was tasked with assassinating Russo's brother. Although the attack was nothing personal for Dog Lead Man, the effects were disastrous, with Quentin going on a revenge spree after Dog Lead Man, becoming more brutal in his criminal tactics in an effort to lure out and kill the bounty hunter.
Russo is a brutal and violent criminal, personally beating to death his adversaries, something that criminal bosses usually leave to their underlings. He does this not from necessity, but because It makes criminals outside of his empire fear him, meaning they are more likely to surrender to him or merge with his organisation, and of course he enjoys it.
